New Client FAQ
Rescheduling — Please reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment time. Otherwise, your retainer will not be transferred.
Your retainer can be transferred one time when rescheduling, after that it will be forfeited. For a second reschedule, you will need to re-book online using a new retainer fee.
Lateness — In the event that you are late to your appointment, the duration of the service will be adjusted. For example, if you arrive 10 minutes late to your 60 minute treatment, your service will now be 50 minutes. The full value of your treatment will still be charged.
Any arrivals past 15 minutes will be cancelled and not be serviced. Any amounts paid will not be applied to your next appointment.
Our policies are strict & lost time cannot be made up during the service.
Extra Guests & Children — Extra guests or children are not permitted in clinic. Due to safety concerns, service will be refused at the door. No exceptions will be made.
Cell Phone Usage — Hayley Lynn Skin promotes a relaxing experience for each guest. Please silence your phone and refrain from using it during the treatment.
No Shows — Any client who is more than 15 minutes late and has not contacted by texting (267)-978-2788 is considered a no show. Any amount paid will not be applied to your next appointment. Any client who no shows will no longer be accepted back at the establishment.
If you do not agree with our clinic policies please refrain from scheduling, as our policies are for everyone and are non-negotiable.
All new clients must complete their intake form before arriving for their first session. These forms will be sent via email after booking your appointment.
Please ensure that all skincare products, medications, and conditions are listed in the form, especially if you are on an acne medication prescribed by your dermatologist.
Avoid the following:
- Facial hair removal (including both waxing and threading) for at least 72 hours prior to your appointment.
- Exfoliant scrubs and chemical exfoliants like AHA/BHA, retinols, prescription topicals, benzoyl peroxide for 5-7 days prior to your first session.
- Caffeine 12 hours and alcohol 24 hours before to decrease skin sensitivity.
Please reschedule your treatment if any of the following apply:
- Active cold sores
- Botox or filler in the last 2 weeks
- Flared eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis on treatment area
- Recent sunburn or sun tanning within 7 days
- Bruised skin, swelling or broken skin
- Cancer
- Accutane usage in the last 6 months
Please arrive to your appointment without makeup to ensure we utilize the entire time duration efficiently. Makeup remover will be available if needed.
Wear comfortable clothes to your service. It's best to wear an undershirt, t-shirt, or tank during the treatment. When possible, remove large jewelry like hoop earrings and necklaces.

We are located at 179 W Berks Street Philadelphia PA 19122 in Unit 305. The building sign says "Silk Screen Studios"
Unmetered free street parking is available. Avoid parking on the 1900 block of Hancock St. as it is residential permit parking. The 1800 block of Hancock St. usually has a lot of parking availability as well as along Berks St. and 2nd St.
The building intercom system requires us to buzz you in. Please text 267-978-2788 upon arrival to let us know you're here. If you're more than 5 minutes early, please wait in your car until told to enter the building. There is no gathering allowed in the hallways of the studio, as per building management rules.
ALL services and products are final sale. Due to the nature of our business, there are no full or partial refunds on any deposits, services, or products under any circumstances.
Product returns are not accepted for the following:

Beginning your skin journey
Hayley ensures ethics are held to the highest standard when offering corrective skin services. That being said, aggressive treatments (such as chemical peels, microneedling, etc.) are not offered on your first visit. This also includes only performing advanced skin treatments to those on an approved home care regimen. All new clients must book a consultation prior to their first treatment.
Your esthetician’s main purpose of your initial consultation & visit is to get a thorough understanding of your skin history, uphold the health of your skin, and create a completely customized treatment plan to safely get you to your skin goals.
Each client’s success has started with a consultation. During your consultation, Hayley will deep dive into your skin history. This will include discussing: history with previous estheticians and dermatologists, prescription medications, product reactions, lifestyle/dietary habits, your skin goals, current skincare routine, setting expectations, and anything else that comes to mind during the discussion. There will be time set to ask any questions or voice concerns you may have.
A customized treatment plan and home care routine will be curated to help you achieve your dream skin. After your consultation, you will be given aftercare instructions, emailed educational resources pertaining to your skin goals and treatment plan, an outline of your new product regimen, along with lifestyle and habit recommendations.
Although a relaxing ambiance is provided for your peace of mind, the services being offered are not your typical spa-like facials. If you’re ready to relax while receiving results-oriented corrective skin treatments, you’re in the perfect place.
What to expect at your first visit
ARRIVING TO THE CLINIC
Upon arriving to the clinic, I will greet you at the door and welcome you into our space! We will sit down to thoroughly review your consultation form. This ensures we answer all questions and concerns about your skin. After the consultation, you’ll get changed into your spa robe, put your phone on DND and make yourself comfortable in the coziest treatment bed! We will begin your facial treatment, based on the skin analysis and consultation.
CONSULTATION
This is a 1:1 sit down for first time clients, lasting about 20-45 minutes. During the consultation, we will discuss possible factors of your lifestyle that have an effect on your skin. This includes current product usage, daily habits, nutrition and more. You will have more than enough time during your consultation to ask any questions you may have about the process. This consultation will cover all skin concerns including acne, acne scarring, dark spots/hyperpigmentation, aging, ultimate skin health, barrier repair & more.
- After the consultation you will have a better understanding of how to maintain healthy skin, skin type and what products will work best to get you to your goals.
- You will receive a written personalized skincare routine along with a custom treatment plan that will consist of 3-6 treatment sessions. This is your blueprint to falling back in love with your skin!
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
After we are finished your service, we will discuss post care instructions. You’ll receive the recommended home care products and reserve your next 2-3 appointments. You will receive a copy of your written routine and treatment plan through email along with a custom resource packet. For example, if acne is a concern you will receive lifestyle, nutrition and habit recommendations that will support you through the clearing process.
